Dammit... nobody chose the K names I like best :(
Well here they are
I'm torn between Courtney and Kourtney, but you guys seem to prefer the first
Prefer: Kasey
Korey
Killian (but I'm going off that name entirely)
Charis or Carys... you know, OR Karis, I can't decide.
Clara
Kate
Katherine
Chiara and Kira
Why do most prefer C names, is it cause with a K can be a bit trendy/ kry8tiv?

Yeah, names with random Ks look a bit trendy, even if it's a legit variation- Karolina, for example, looks like a trendification of Carolina. Not so, but I certainly prefer Carolina. It was the same thing on your list with Clara and Klara.
I also am not really the person to ask because I don't like Ks much- the only K names on my list are Katherine, Katharine, Katharina, Katarina and Kathleen. I might add Katrina. Basically, if it's a variant of or nickname for Katherine, I'm a fan, otherwise, I am unlikely to like K names. This may be because of 'K makes it stronger' syndrome (by which I mean, because Ks are such a trend that everything with a K looks trendy now).
Kourtney looks especially weird/off/wrong. Kourtney also looks more feminine, I think that spelling is only ever used on girls. So if you want to use Courtney on a boy, I wouldn't use a more feminine spelling variation.

Courtney or Kourtney (m): Courtney
Casey or Kasey (m/f): Casey, and only as a nn for Catherine or...for whatever it would be a nickname for on a guy.
Corey or Korey (m): Corey
Cillian or Killian (m): Cillian
Charis, Carys, or Karis (f): Carys
Clara or Klara: Clara
Cate or Kate: Kate, no matter how the full name is spelled, any spelling other than Kate looks odd and usually very cutesy (Kait?).
Catherine or Katherine: I adore both. Also love Katharine.
Ciara, Chiara, Keira or Kira: Ciara
The only names I actually like are Clara, Catherine/Katherine and its nickname Kate.
Casey or Kasey (m/f): Casey, and only as a nn for Catherine or...for whatever it would be a nickname for on a guy.

I'd pick C over K any day. I just like that letter. Also a lot of names spelled with K are originally spelled with C, although some are just variants from another language.
Courtney
Casey
Corey
Cillian
Carys
Clara
Cate or Kate are fine. I like Cate better myself mostly because it looks nicer to me and isn't as common.
Catherine, but nothing wrong with Katherine
Ciara
Courtney
Casey
Corey
Cillian
Carys
Clara

Catherine, but nothing wrong with Katherine
Ciara
Courtney, Casey, Cillian, Corey -- because those are traditional spellings
Charis -- because I like the look of this vs. Carys
Clara -- because the C looks softer
Kate -- because Cate just looks wrong to me
Katherine -- if the nn is Kate, otherwise, Catherine is lovely as a mn
Ciara, Chiara, Kira -- because they're three different names with three different sources
