It's my name and when I was younger I didn't like it because I thought it was a bit old lady-ish. However, lately many people have complimented me on it. And older names are very much in vogue over here. I now like it and it's nice not to be a Vicky, Nicki, Karen, Sarah, Emma etc just like all the other people my age!
There are also a few nickname options. I get called Ro by my close family and friends, Rose by some colleagues and older family members and Rosie by my old school friends (even though I don't like it) and a few people who just take it upon themselves to call me that. I always introduce myself to people as Rosemary.
