First of all, what do you think of the name Sage? I've always kind of liked it, and it's been growing on me lately. Second of all do you think it's a girl or a boy name? I've heard it both ways but I think it's a girl name, so with that said what would you picture a girl named Sage to look like???

I like it for a guy or a girl. However, I to me it defintely connotes a granola-head/hippy, or long-haired surfer (good or bad, depending who you ask)! It also seems more casual than the other names you like.

And I think it goes well for both sexes. Sage means "wise" and both man and woman can be wise (or unwise).
But I've noticed that as soon as a name gets unisex, people start saying it is "too feminine" for a boy.

I totally agree. Green eyes would be required with a name like sage in my opinion.

I think Sage is an ok name, but that's coming from someone with a more traditional name style.
I picture a girl with the name Sage to have long, black hair. She would be very tall and have bright green eyes. I think she would be olive complected and be of Italian, French, American Indian, and Spanish decent.

I prefer Sage for a boy, but it isnt my style
