My name is unique and not very many people have heard of my name and I would like to tell it to you. It is pernounced Shy-la the i is silent i like it and i thank my mom for giving it to me.

It's probably a variant of the Hindi name Shyla, meaning "daughter of the mountain" or "goddess".
