First, I love Declan. Of your list I love Thaddeus the most. I also enjoy Rhys, Avery & Kai.

I really like Roan, but not w. Declan.

I agree, I'm not really in love with Roan with Declan. I was just trying to find a place to fit that name in.

Thanks for the suggestions, many of them (Eli, Oliver, and Jude for example) are on my list as first names. I'm not quite sure I'm ready to give them up as first names yet, though.

I like both Declan Patrick and Declan Theodore. I could almost see myself going full force and using Padraig, thoughts?

I like Padraig very much. Declan Padraig definitely would show pride in his Irish heritage (I'm assuming here).

Sorry, I can't help you much there. There aren't many I like, however, the ones I do like, I really like. My favorites are Annora Maeve, Caitriona Maeve, Fiona Maeve and Ciara Maeve. (I guess you can tell I like Maeve.)

I love Declan. It's been a fav of mine for a long time, but it is hard to make combos for. Mine is Declan Christopher, which is double honoring for me.

Declan Francis
Declan Kai

I also want to say Declan Rhys, it flows wonderfully, but I hate Rhys with a burning passion.

I do agree that Declan Rhys probably flows the best.

I really like Kai, but since DH's name is Kyle, I think we'd probably go with that if we use Declan for our first son.

Thanks, there is something about Kai as a middle name. I'm always torn about it as a first name since it almost seems incomplete, but I don't have that worry as a middle name.

Thanks, is Declan really gaining in popularity? I know of a few Deacon's, but I haven't met a Declan yet.
