My favorite nns for Elizabeth are Lizzy and Betsy. I started liking Betsy while reading the "Betsy-Tacy" books.
My sister Elizabeth "Lizzy" is named after her great-aunt Elizabeth "Betty" who was named after her aunt Elizabeth "Bess." I always thought that was interesting.
