[Opinions] Corinne
WDYT of when you hear Corinne? It was one of my top girls names years ago and I discarded it, but recently it's been coming back to me. And while we're at it, Joanna. I don't like Anna names in general, but something about Joanna "Jo" really appeals to me.Thanks in advance :)

I can't seem to fall in love with Corinne. It's a good name and I like to see it, and I think if you want to call your daughter Corey you should name her Corrine and spell it Corrie. It's an iamb so it's a good middle name. But I don't love it.I do kind of love Joanna though. I tend to like -ana or -anna names well when it's not name+anna. I like Joanna as an elaboration of Joan and Juliana as feminine of Julian. But I don't like Liliana or Mariana, which I regard as name+ana, and therefore superfluous. Yeah. Joanna's great, it's simple and pretty and sensible. Goes well with Laura and Caroline.

Well, if I hear the prn that's in the database, I cringe. :o/ I do know a Corinne who prns her name cor-IN, and since that's the prn of my own name, that's the prn I prefer.I'm personally ok w/Anna names (find them a bit boring, but they're all right, generally), but I much prefer Johanna to Joanna. I know, I know, there's not a whole lot of difference between the two...still, throwing that 'h' in there does something special to the name, imo. Jo is a fantastic nn.(edited for punctuation)
