I quite like it actually. It's pretty much unheard of here in Australia, as I've never met or seen anyone with this name. Leif Alexander, Leif Christian, Leif Edmund, Leif Oliver, Leif Sebastian, Leif Samuel and Leif Tobias are all nice.

I've always liked Leif (especially with that pronunciation). I'd love to see it used and I really like all of your combos.

Leif is cool, if not exactly my thing. I've only ever met one - he was a couple years younger than me. I think out of your combos I like Leif Tobias best, mostly because I'm going through a big Tobias thing right now. :D Leif Edmund is really cool, too.

*fangirls*I adore Leif. It's so smashing and dashing and whatever other rhyming words you can think of. And while I don't mind the leaf pronunciation (he'd probably get that at least occasionally here in the States), layf is definitely the way to go.I'm bad with concocting combos, not gonna lie. Leif Alexander is supremely handsome, though, as well as natural and down-to-earth. As Akis said, pick something that means a lot to you, because I think Leif is pretty flexible in the FN spot.

I agree with CN, it would be wierd to meet a young Leif since it's very dated to me. I know a Leif too, it's his birthday today actually. He's 51. For me, Leif is a really boring name and Leffe is very common as a nickname here, and it's just very ugly..Edit: I prefer Oliver, Sebastian, Christian, Alastair and Alexander for the middlename. I don't like Alastair and Christian but they sound good with Leif

Are you from Europe? Because it's almost unheard-of in the United States aside from explorer Leif Erikksen.

Many names that I consider as boring and dated is becoming more and more popular in the US now.

I think Leif is really great. I support layf, but you'd be hopefully not completely enraged to hear the leef pronunciation, because in the US you'd be getting the latter a lot.Your middle names are all fine. Pick one that means something to you!

I'm glad you pronounce it like layf :)
Personally I think it's a bit dated and it would be strange to meet a young Leif but that's just me.
Most of your combos are very nice. I especialy like Leif Alexander (great combo and I love Alexander as a middle name) and Leif Alistair.Oh and I know a man named Leif too, his wife is Leila and their children are Leo and Laura... (and they had a dog named Laban and a horse named Lappi)
