Lottie, while adorable, doesn't have enough depth to stand on its own, at least to me.
If you don't like Charlotte, how about Carlotta? Carlotta is one of those known-but-underused names that I'd love to see come back into style.
Just a thought.
Oh, and there's always Lieselotte (sp?).
