This is a lot more romantic and girly than I normally like...but I'm really loving this name. Opinions? It's just such a lovely name with a gorgeous meaning. Siofra Helen? Other ideas? And other names that go with Siofra?

I love the meaning, but not the sound. Mostly because the first syllable is the French word for "number" or "digit" (chiffre). Siofra Helen is a handsome combo, though.

How is it pronounced? Other Irish names with "Si-" as pronounced with a "sh" sound. Is this one too? "SHOFF-ruh?" "SHEEF-ruh?"
While I can't sound out Siofra Helen, the symbolism of Celtic and Greek mythology together is delicious. It's the kind of combination Oscar Wilde would have made. I don't think I can equal it, but I enjoy trying:

Kendrick is very handsome. I don't know why it isn't more popular. As for the ex-boyfriend thing, only you can tell how comfortable you are with it. I wouldn't worry about other people's reactions, other than the father of the child of course.

Kendrick and Kenneth aren't the same name. But if you'll think Kenneth everytime...then it might be better not to use it.
