Cate Blanchett and husband Andrew Upton had their baby.Ignatius Martin Upton was born on Sunday, April 13th in Sydney, Australia. The big brothers are Dashiell John and Roman Robert.Wdyt of the names?

I actually think Ignatius Martin is horrible! It's just really not my style at all. I love Cate, I think she's an incredible actress and such a stunningly beautiful and lovely woman, but my goodness she chooses weird names for her kids!

I do not care for multiple middle names, but this name is less egregious than most celebrity baby names, albeit a touch awkward and lofty--which could admittedly prove to be more charming than an invented monstrosity.The one really erroneous attribute to this choice is the way it out-shines the other children's names. The quasi-trendy Dashiell and Roman pale in comparison to the highly immodest Ignatius.

I am not a fan of any of her kids' names, but I do think they are her style and they aren't horrible, just not my style. I think they all go ridiculously well as a set too. It is amazing.

Wow! Right gender, real names- that alone makes up for a couple of other celebrity announcements recently, and Ignatius Martin is just so much fun. Hope he's an Iggy!

Ignatius has been a long-time favourite, and it's lovely to see it being used. Dashiell isn't for me but it's certainly acceptable, and Roman is a name I'm a big fan of. Kudos to her!
