Macy & only for a girl.:)

I dislike both for both genders. I didn't like the name much to begin with and I'm an Illinoisan who is still really bitter about our precious Marshall Field's being bought out by Macy's. ;-)

Neither - it reminds me of the department store. If I had to pick a gender, I'd say female spelled Macy, but I really don't like it. It could, perhaps, work as a nickname for Marcella or some other name, but I don't like it as a stand-alone. It's not really my style.

Don't care for either. Macey reminds me of "mace" and Macy of the store.

I prefer Macy of the two. I can't imagine either on a boy.

Thank you so much! Wow! I'm honoured! Haha.. you have quite lovely taste as well :-) And I'm so glad someone else is a big fan of Oleander!

Macy, girl

It's very much a girl's name to me, and I think I like Macy best. Macey reminds me more of dated Stacey and Tracey.

Girl. It's a nickname for a boy, and a really off-beat one at that (it's for Thomas. But I could understand Mason too). I like it spelled Macy. It's the name of a female character in a story I've been working on. Nothing else fit her. :]
