Safer?
I just think of Morley Safer, the "60 Minutes" news correspondent. So it's old mannish and nickname-y to me, but doesn't have an attractive or sophisticated sound at all, imo.

It's OK, but it will forever remind me about the cigarette brand, that the head bad guy (the Cigarette Smoking Man) in The X-Files chain-smokes. It's called Morley.
But if choosing a gender? Definitely male.

Surname :)
It seems more masculine to me, but I don't like it because it reminds me of Mordred.
I don't like it at all. The sound isn't all that great.
I hate it. For either. It sounds like a dog food variety to me.
Neither. It's a surname, or if you're from around here, a suburb with a big shopping centre and a high crime rate. I can't picture it as a first name.
By the way, can you please make your signature smaller? It's considered general courtesy not to make people scroll for too long past large images.

You should have known it was useless to ask.
I'm an optimist :-P
No, I'd rather not.
It's obnoxiously large. Please make it smaller.
Neither
It's a suburb in my city, and I just can't see it as a persons name at all.

*That's* why it sounded so familiar!
Either, as long as it's a surname. As a first name, only in inanimate objects.
Eh. Male, I guess. It reminds me of Maury :P
I've only ever met one Morley, he was an older man, in his 70s or so, and this was 5 years ago (approximately). I don't like it because of this man, as I found him very arrogant.
not a fan.i would think male.
I think of it as a surname/place name - so both male and female.
Male, but ick on either.
I'd say it looks male but sounds female.
The 'lee' ending throws me off.
I don't like the 'MOR' sound at the beginning. It reminds me of 'Marlie' which I associate with a dog.
