Finlay and Ainsley lived in the same town growing up, and Fin almost lived at Ainsley's house as her older brother, Tom, was Fin's best friend. Aimsley always had a bit of a crush on Fin, but she got over it when Fin's family moved away. Years later, they met again at College and, after getting Tom's permission, they started dating. A short 6 months later they were engaged and they married on their 1 year anniversary.
