Does anyone know or have any suggestions of any 'American' names that would suit the name Asimeni or Asimenia? I believe its Greek but am not sure.

Asimina is indeed a Greek name meaning "silvery".
More "American-sounding" names of similar meaning could be Ariane, Gina or Silver.
