[Opinions] Laurel
I am not one for botannical names much, but I make an exception for this one. It seems to polarize people in terms of reactions, but I find it very classy and understated, but then, my best friend right after I gradtuated was named Laurel (but it was her adopted name--originally I think it was Da-Yung).
Quite fond of Laurel Amelia.

I think it is beautiful, a wonderful alternative to the somewhat overused Lauren. Also an improvement on Laura, which everyone seems to love but which I dislike because of a bad association.
and much nicer compared to Lauren, and laura. Laura is classic, and Laurel sounds modern, but not overused like Lauren. Not that Lauren is a a bad, it just sounds dated
Laurel is one of those names that I've always been attracted to but it has never become a favourite. I agree - it certainly is very classy and understated. I really like it and wouldn't mind seeing it used at all. I'm also pretty sure that I've considered Laurel Amelia before. It certainly is a very strong combo.
I'm pretty neutral with it, as I am with all the Laur- names.
Laurel Amelia is fine, but not my style.
