[Opinions] I actually wish that none of my faves were ever popular
I'm hoping that Constantine never makes it into the top 1000. It's been my favorite boys' name since around 1st grade and really hope that my future husband likes it as much as I do. If I couldn't use Constantine I think I'd seriously be heartbroken. But I don't want my childrens' names to be common at all. I've enjoyed an uncommon name too much.

Same here. If Isla were number 1, I probably wouldn't like it much at all. Or at least would feel I couldn't use it, because she'd be one of many Islas in her class. :b But I'd still be proud the #1 name was a gorgeous one, and maybe names like Madison & Destinee wouldn't be so abundant. ;)

You should check the number of births on the list thoughNames at the bottom have just over 200... Even if Constantine or something else made the bottom of the list, odds are your Constantine would never meet any of the others.

LOL really? The top 1000? That is pretty extreme. Aileen's never even dropped out of the top 1000, and it's (usually) a spelling variation of a more common name.Anything below ~250-300 I consider "uncommon." I think that is a good range, actually, because they are all ordinary enough to be recognizable but distinct enough to be memorable. I'm so glad Simon is continuing to hover there this year!Constantine is a great name, the more I think about it. I know a kid whose FN/MN is John Constantine, I think that's amazing.
