Sylvia is one of my favorite names. I find it so elegent and classic. I like Sylvie as a nickname and also as a name on it's own. Kind of like Sophia / Sophie, Sophie works well either way to me.
Combo's that I've liked in the past with the two:
Sylvia Jane
Syliva Josephine
Sylvia Frances
And with Sylvie, it just sounds so wonderfully french that I can't help but want to pair with a french middle name.
