Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes some more. I absolutely adore the name Anya on its own. It's so much more unique than Anna (which is nice, don't get me wrong), but not as fancy as Anastasia or Anstace or anything of the sort.
Anya and Liv make a great set. For some reason, Reine and Liv seem like two bizarre spellings of Rain and Live when paired together, as if the parents couldn't spell. With Anya, Liv becomes a name again. It's weird.
Unusual short names... hm. Let's see.
