What do you think of Elah for a girl, pronounced AY-la? I find it a wonderful alternative to Ella, and its history is so much more interesting.

Any combo suggestions?

I have loved Ayla for a very long time - it's one of my all-time faves. I've never seen Elah, but it's pretty.

(I like Ella too, and I think the name's history is interesting due to the wonderful Ella Fitzgerald. =] )

lol - I seem obsessed with pronunciation today - sorry :) - I thought Elah was pronounced the same as Ella? I do like the name - although not familar with it's history?

For that pronunciation I would use Aella. Elah looks like EE-la, or Ella misspelled.
