It's a shame the two names don't really work together. Jonah Oscar or Oscar Jonah sounds and looks odd.
But Oscar sounds terrible. It's no name for a child, imo.
Jonah fits for both kids and adults and I love it.

Why? Why don't you think it's a name for a child? I know several Oscars my age. I can't see what's so wrong with it.

Subjective matter ;).
Thinking about it again, yes, maybe. Maybe I, too, find it apt on a child.
But at first, I couldn't stand the thought of that ;).
