I pronounce it to rhyme with Simon. It reminds me of a character in the series "Rome", as that's the only place I've heard it. Timon is a 'hired sword' - he tortures or kills people for Julius Caesar's niece, in exchange for sex or money.

First thought: Timon & Pumba

I'd pronounce it TEE-mon, Timon doesn't sound better, because t sounds exactly the same, but it sure looks better :)

Tymon seems like it should be pronounced TIE-mon, and Timon should be pronounced ti-MONE. I'm not a fan of either. I think Simon is a lot better. The Ty- in Tymon makes it look made up and trendy. Timon makes me think of Timon and Pumbaa from the Lion King.

I don't really like this spelling of it, Timon is ok, but I prefer the similar Timo.

Hmm. First thought it looks like Simon gone wrong. Second thought was Timon & Pumba. So I don't know where to put the accent.
It's really not my style, I don't like it at all.

I just looked it up and Tymon is indeed a legitimate name, but it just looks so annoyingly trendy and made up. A Timon, on the other hand, would constantly get teased about the Lion King. I don't know, I think they're both kind of bad. I'm sorry. =[
