Sorry, but I don't like it at all.
It always strikes me as a cross between "falcon" and "talon." The imagery is too set in my mind to ignore.

It makes me think of the 1980s tv show "Dynasty," which had a character named Fallon.

Me too. That's where I first heard the name. Even then, the imagery of a falcon's talon was there.
