[Opinions] Re: BA's From Home
in reply to a message by Anastasia-Lynn
Bad day so please excuse any curtness. :P
Girls:
Emily Michele Irene - I love Emily, but I can only see Michele as the Italian form of Michael. I'm assuming that in this case, however, it's a kree8tif spelling of Michelle (which I find dated and cutesy, but not horrible). Irene is okay, but I loove Irina.
Delany Josephine - Delaney is uber cutesy and horrible, imo, but Josephine is wonderful. I also love it as a fn with Posey as a nn.
Isabella Emma - Way too frilly and I hate the double consonant X2+A.
Jorja Rae - Triple ugh. Georgia is nice enough, but Jorja is despicable! I also think that Rae is the most tacky mn ever. No exaggeration.
Kailyn Kathleen Helena - Chop of the Kailyn and it would be a fine combo. In addition to Kailyn being way too similar to Kathleen to be used in the same combo, I find it utterly trendy, tacky, and cutesy. Kathleen is nms either, but it's 100X better than Kailyn. Helena is beautiful. :)
Avah Lillian - Ava Lillian would be much prettier and more timeless.
Iyla Jocelyn Melissa - I dislike all three names, but would love Iyla if it were spelled like Isla.
Alyssa Erin Yvette - I'm not a fan of any, but there's nothing particularly offending about them.
Annalise Melissa Marie (double barreled lastname comes next... both starting with 'M' as well!) - With knowing the background on the additional Ms...I think it's way too much! Anna lise is alright, but I much prefer Anneliese. Melissa is nms, but I love Marie and don't find it filler as the 2nd mn.
Sophie Mi-Sun - I adore Sophie and, while Mi-Sun is nrms, it's cute.
Clara Victoria Elis - Clara Victoria is wonderful. I'm assuming Elis is a family name and I think it fits well with the rest of the combo.
Sydney Alyssa - Ugh. Lyke, these parents are SoOo behind the timez! For real though, Alyssa screams 80's/early 90's to me, just as Sydney is early 2000's. C'mon parents. Get with it.
Sadie Grace Avram - Sadie Grace is entirely too trendy and cutesy for me. Avram is so masculine I can't even take it.
Rebecca Mae Hannah - Rebecca Hannah Mae would flow better in my opinion, but it's nice. Nothing remotely exciting, but nice.
Hannah Mae Anne - Hannah and Anne in the same combo? They're the same name! The whole flow of this combo is really awkward too.
Sofia Alexandra Hayley - Sofia Alexandra would be so great, but Hayley really cheapens the combo.
Ellie Deanna Kellsy - Bleugh. I just dies of cutesy overload. I need to move on due to name induced nausea.
Boys:
Andrew Richard - Dependable. Safe. Boring.
Johnathan Schuyler (big brother Nicholaus) - Ineresting...I would prefer John Schuyler, but I do like the idea of Schuyler (spelled properly of course) as a mn. I adore Nicholas and Nicolaus but Nicholaus just looks like a misspelled "combination" of the two.
Cayden Corey Bruce - I like absolutely nothing about this name.
Nolan Cecil Barry - Interesting cadence, but I'm not particularly a fan of any of the names individually.
Aidyn Robert - Aidyn...*cringes*.
Mason Edward Tyler - Edward Tyler would be really neat, but I'm not feeling Mason at all.
Blake Michael - Michael Blake would flow better, imo, even if it's at risk of sounding like a fn/ln combo.
Cooper Samuel Elliott - Totally awkward in flow. Cooper is a ln for me. 100%, no questions asked. Samuel is sooo common where I live that it practically makes me fall asleep everytime I hear it. I love Elliott, but prefer it spelled Elliot or Eliot.
Brock Donaled Neil - Is it time for former Pokemon fans to start having kids already?? Yeah, Brock totally reminds me of Pokemon. I don't even know what to make of Donaled and Neil is okay, but nms.
Tiernan Jesse - Ick.
Caleb John Douglas - Wow. I'm not a huge fan of any of the individual names, but I'm absolutely loving everything about this combo.
Kade Jacob cole - Aaaand we're back to the crap combos...
Ryan Davis Lee - Yuck, yuck, and yuck. All three sound like lns to me.
