I like it. It has a classic, sophisticated, kind of artsy feel to me. I absolutely loathe the nickname Frankie on a girl, and I also dislike Fran, Frannie, and Frenchie. But Francie is alright! :) Frances was my grandmother's middle name, and I would like to use it as a middle name for a future daughter to honor her. I think it makes a great middle name anyway. It was also the name of the main character in a children's book I liked when I was little.
