[Opinions] Sophy.
I've recently come across the name Sophy, I mean this particular spelling. I didn't even know the spelling until, well, recently.
I've always found the whole name pretty... lame, but more or less nice. Well, it IS on my favs list, but I don't find it particularly interesting.
Reading the spelling Sophy, I've thought: Well, just another "kreatyve" variant of a classical and classy name. (I know that Sophy is also considered as a short form of Sophronia, but let's face it: almost everyone would consider it a modern variant of Sophie at first sight.)
But now I almost love the spelling. First, it looked a bit trashy to me, but now I find this variant almost as classical as the original Sophie.
I can almost imagine it in a Dickens novel ;).
I like it now, but I don't love Sophy or Sophie enough to actually use it, just btw.
Well, what do you think about it?

I first "discovered" this spelling in the book Anne of Windy Poplars by L.M. Montgomery (it's the fourth book, published in 1936, in the Anne of Green Gables series).
I've liked this spelling from the first time I saw it and have actually grown to prefer it to Sophie, although I do like that as well.

Much prefer Sofia as a full name
I don't care for the sound of Sophie/y, but I prefer the appearance of Sophie over Sophy. Sophy looks odd to me. Like SAHP-hee.

It just looks wrong to me sorry
I only like the spelling Sofie, although like you, it doesn't seem interesting enough to me

It reminds me of a trophy. It looks like it could be in a greek mythology maybe.
