[Opinions] Re: Nevaeh
I actually really like the sound of it too. I wouldn't use it myself, but I don't harbour the burning hatred for it that alot of others seem to.As for the spelling, however, changing it seems to defeat the purpose of the names existence. I don't mind the way it came about- all names have to be invented at some point, and there are worse ways to do this than spelling Heaven backwards. What I don't really like about the name is that it seems to need to come with a page of explaination attachted to it- This is my daughter, her name is Nevaeh-it's-heaven-spelled-backwards. Might as well put that on her birth certificate. Oh, and what I really object to abotu the anme is when people try to pretend that it means something else- White Butterfly, Heavenly Angel, whatever. No. It just means Heaven spelt backwards, thats all. Oh, and changing the spelling, especially to Neveah - it's Haeven spelled backwards.Anyway. I like Nevaeh, althoguh not for myself, abut I'd stick with that spellign personally.
