In the three years following the wedding Bri has graduated college and got a job as a nurse for awhile. She is currently only working part time in order to take care of Matt. When they found out that they were going to have a kid they were very happy and started to look at many different names. They had decided on a completely different name than they ultimately have chosen when a childhood friend of Bri's passed away suddenly. They decided to honor their friend after he died by naming the baby Matthew after him. The middle name John was Michael's father's name
