[Opinions] Johnis?
I couldn't resist posting this one, even though my strangely-named-callers-from-where-I-work-at-the-call-center posts may start to become tiresome.
But yeah, I received a call from a woman named Johnis.
This has to be one of the strangest names I have ever encountered.
Another one that I would have loved to be able to ask, "HOW did you come by this name?" I bet there's an interesting story behind it.
It's pronounced just like "John" with IS at the end, just like it looks.
What do you think?

Another example is the author Jonis Agee, who pronounces her name the same way even though it does not have the "h":

Since Jonis Agee is very well known in Nebraska, this seems like a literary name to me.

Nmsaa! I know a boy called Jonjo which I think is really strange.
Ha, for some reason it reminds me of the word jaundice... odd.
