In my accent (Australian), Isobel and Isobel are pronounced: 'I' as in tin,
'S' as in laser
'O' or 'A' as in zebra or lion - this is a neutral unstressed vowel sound known as a schwa (usually written 'uh' on BtN).
'B' as in bird
'E' as in bed
'L' as in legSo, yeah - exactly the same when said out loud. But they sound different in my head :-D
