I love Ptolemy! But I think you're right, it is hard to pronounce (let alone spell!).

Ptolemy, hmm. A bit out there, but as I've never heard anybody actually pronounce the P, it might work.

I don't think those are necessarily bad names; Linus is fantastic, and Silvy would be a fine nickname for Silvia.

They are all bad names imo. Ptolemy? maybe the parents were trying to be intellects.
