[Opinions] Mietta, Tabotha and Tomoko
Saw Mietta this week on an "Australia's Got Talent" contestant. Young girl who looked about 6. She was pretty cute.
I was served at the checkout by a Tabotha yesterday. Tabitha would make a whole lot more sense.
And my brother's fiancee is named Tomoko. Said like TOM-uh-ko.
So, WDYT?

For years, I have worked with a co-worker (who only works on an as-needed basis, so only comes in once every 1-2 months) named tah-BAH-thah. That's how it is pronounced, and the only way I could remember that is because someone else pointed out its similarity to Chewbacca. :b Anyway, the spelling of her name has always been listed as Tobitha. Well, Tobitha DOES NOT = tah-BAH-thah, IMO. I just found out it's actually spelled Tabotha (or possibly Tobatha...I just can't remember...see how confusing it is!). All bad, imo, but still better than Tobitha with a funkified pronunciation.
Mietta isn't horrible but none are my style, really.

I like Tabotha spelled Tabatha and Mietta reminds me of a girl I know whose middle name is Miatta.
I saw that too
She's 5, hence the "I'm 5, I'm 5 I'm 5 I'm 5" song ;), and she was cute. I like the name, very spunky and sweet.
I agree with you that Tabitha is much better than Tabotha. Ick.

Lol, I didn't see her perform. The whole show creeps me out.
Just say the voting thing at the end.

lol, fair enough. I don't usually watch it myself, I was procrastinating from studying for my exams :) And I saw the add for it while I was watching Home and Away, and just had to find out the kids name. I'm weird like that.
