I think its cute; very French. I can't help but think she'll be a very small girl, though, because I went to school with a Collette who was less than five feet tall. :)

With the spelling Colette, it's my favorite girls' name. :D Collette looks a little off to me, though.

I love Colette (this spelling only). It sounds very chic and sophisticated without being stuffy. Great pick! I also like the similar Cosette and Coline [ko-LEEN].

I used to love it, but the name has grown "off" me a little over time. I tend to prefer it as a middle name, e.g. Rosemary Colette.
