[Opinions] Jarle
WDYTO Jarle? It's Norwegian (at least, it's the name of a distant relative of mine who lives in Norway). It's pronounced YAHR-lee. Should I put it in my GPs immediately, or should I put it on my "to be combo-ed" list?

I don't like it... the YAHR sound is quite harsh... i'd stop and think about it a day or two before deciding.
Teehee!
I've stopped to think about it for a YEAR or two. All I can decide is that I like it for some reason, but I don't know how much I like it. :-D

Jarle is pretty neat. Spunky, but without the cheesy motorcycle reference of Harley or the massive hipster appeal of Arlo. I don't think it's totally evil to respell names that are going to be mispronounced, so maybe you could add it to your list as Yarley.
Yarley looks like something from StarWars... hehe...

Well, being quite the Star Wars geek, I must say that puts a couple of +'s on Yarley's side. :-P

It reminds me a little of jarlsburg cheese. It's alright. Not something I'd use as a first name though.
Put it as a combo, I think.

I don't think i'd use it for a mn either, with the ee sound for the end... it's a tough one to flow with most surnames.
