I can't stand the idea of people getting kree8iv with name spellings, and I really, really dislike this. Caitlin is so much better. Catalina is even better, since it's so underused. Katalin looks very tryndeigh.

Katalin isn't tryndee

It's perfectly legit.

Usage: Hungarian, Basque

Hungarian and Basque form of KATHERINE

However, if you meant that it just looks really kre8tiv, then I'd have to agree.

Yeah, it just appears to be tryndee.

And most people aren't really up to date on Hungarian and Basque names. :-)
