[Facts] name update
I've updated the database! This update focuses mostly on the English names - I've beefed up many of the entries, adding information about when the name began to be used. Not many new names were added.
Also:
- some words in the entries hyperlink into the glossary
- a few entries have pictures (more to come)
- schwa in English, German and Dutch pronunciations

Nice job adding Schuyler.

Woah +edit
Yeah, I'm almost exclusively over on opinions, but I've just ventured into the realm of facts and... woah. Thankyouthankyouthankyou! This'll only occupy me for weeks.
Ah! Did you just add the ie-LEEN prn of Aileen this time? Chances are you did that ages ago and I just didn't notice, but I remember that a while ago it was just ay-LEEN. If you didn't know (not that I expected you to) my name is the ie-LEEN form. Thanks so much! If you did that months ago and I just didn't notice, I don't care. I'm happy anyway!

ÆÐELFWINE should be ÆÐELWINE.

Pictures? PICTURES?? P-I-C-T-U-R-E-S???
And 'more to come' ...
You are a wonderful man.
Er ... you couldn't just drop a tiny hint as to which entries have the pictures, could you? My imagination is in overdrive.

Whoa, Pictures!
Awesome.
Awesome.
Nice! pictures! :D
You might want to put captions on the pictures, because although who is depicted might seem obvious to us well-read people, they probably aren't to everyone.

Just click to see a caption.
oh! ok great :)
How on earth do you do this?
I'm rather curious. You're like some sort of super-human being.
Nice job, btw, I'm off to explore.

Yay! I been wondering, these couple of days, when you would get around to make an update.
And yay! An ordinary Genevieve instead of Geneviève. Now I can go replace the latter with the former, on my PNL here and you added Ascension too. So amazing.
I also noticed that you updated Calleigh with the right pronounciation and added the right name it comes from.
Thank you so much.

A suggestion...
I would recommend changing the pronunciation key to use IPA symbols, as they can represent a very wide range of sounds, though I am uncertain whether it is copyrighted....
Regardless, I believe that it would be immensely helpful in transliterating the pronunciation of non-English and non-European names, but a key would likely need to be included.

Yes, eventually I'd like to use IPA, and give the option of switching between IPA and the phonetic spelling.
Thank you, those are great.
I have one question though. How do you decide which names to add?
I'm asking because there are many names used in Croatia (and other countries) that aren't in the database and I was wondering which criteria and sourced do you need to be able to add names.Thanx!

There are many many names from many different cultures that could be added to the database. Generally when I do an update I focus on one or two categories. This time it was the English names.
