I do like Bartholomew quite a bit, but not enough to be absolutely in love with it. Apart from Constantine, it was one of the first names that I really began liking. I'm not super crazy about it anymore, but it's still nice. On the otherhand, I love Alzbeta! Elizabeth has just always been so blah to me, so I found for Alzbeta about a year ago and just can't get over it. It's so spunky and amazing! And I agree that Elizabeth Blackwell was just amazing. I don't think I can really help you out with any nicknames for Bartholomew, though. Theo? No, that doesn't work. Oh well.
