I do like Ruth, but it doesn't sound too snotty so I didn't include it :)

Ruby isn't harsh.
Not like Ruth, Rupert, Rudolph, Jerusha - they have a harsher sound than Ruby. Plus Ruby has always ranked - look at its' charts.
I do agree the RU sound isn't popular. It's unforunate, as my boyfriend tastes tend to run with what is popular and mine don't. I'd love a Ruth and Jerusha.
