[Opinions] Jakobine
WDYTO Jakobine (yah-kawp-EE-nuh)? It's a distant relative's name, and I rather like it (Jakob is one of my favorite names). At the moment, I'm thinking of Jakobine Simone for a combo.

Eh. Doesn't do much of anything for me. The Anglicized Jacobine (JAY-cuh-been) really appeals to me, but the "kawp" sound isn't exactly giving me thrills of excitement this morning.Jakobine Simone is okayish. The -ne endings that sound entirely different are throwing me, but I'm tired today. ;)Array

Well.I'm not a fan. I adore the name Jakob/Jacob, but not in a feminine form, and not the way you are pronouncing it. However, Jakobine Simone has a nice ring to it, whether I like the names or not, so I guess I'm just not being very helpful. Sorry.

It looks like JacobinWhich of course brings to mind our good buddy Robespierre and his trustee guillotine! The pronuncian of Jakobine that you described really does draw me to the name, though. But I wouldn't be able to use it because of the association. Jakobine Simone is nice.
