[Opinions] Denver
I'm reading Toni Morrison's "Beloved" right now, and there is a female character with this name. I've never heard it before, but I kind of like it; its different, but not wacky. What do you guys think? I don't think I would ever name my daughter Denver, but its a cool name.

I don't like it for either gender, but especially a girl. There's nothing feminine about it at all, in my opinion.

I dislike it intensely. If it was used on a boy I might be more accepting of it, but it just is not feminine to me at all. I actually know a girl called Denva, a friend of my sister's (in New Zealand English, Denva and Denver sound the same. Tayla and Tyla are other spelling abuses resulting from this homophony). I think it's one of the worst names I've come across IRL.

My cousin considered Denver for her daughter, but she didn't name her that. I don't really like it, but if I had to use it I'd use it on a boy I think.

I love Denver on a girl I wouldn't use it though.
