Prefer it more on a girl, but it works on a boy.

I can see it working on either, but I prefer it on a boy.I'm surprised this many people like it on a girl!

GirlFor some reason it sounds feminine to me. Or maybe it's just that indigo seems feminine-- a plant that makes blue dye doesn't seem particularly masculine to me. And it's also weird I think that because it's one letter away from Inigo. Either way, I don't like the name at all.

I think it works equally on both sexes.

I think it should ONLY be for a girl.

Prefer it for a girl definitely. Don't like it for a boy at all.:)

GirlI have grown to like Indigo. I think James Packer just named their daughter this.
There is a little girl (about twelve) in our street named Indigo, and though her I grew to like it.

I prefer it for a girl.I like it for a boy, too, but I have a thing for girls' names that end in O.Indigo's actually a current favorite, with Indigo Celeste being my favorite combo.

I think it works much better on a boy, but I find it tacky for either. I shouldn't, because I like names like Amethyst, but for some reason it's just so incredibly tacky.Doesn't "goddess" have only one D in it?

I love Indigo but it's thoroughly a GP name for me, I would never actually use it. On a character one day, maybe! I prefer it on a girl but since it's similar to names like Inigo it's not out of the question on a boy.
