[Opinions] Loveless....
I received a call at work from a woman named Loveless. First name, not last.
Isn't loveless a beautiful word, when you think about it? Doesn't it make a pretty name?
On the other hand, isn't the meaning sad? Wouldn't you avoid it as a first name, if only for that reason alone?

Loveless has a wonderful sound. You could almost be distracted from the meaning by the sound. Almost.
Couldn't use it. After I got over saying the name a few times upon meeting a Loveless, it would make me rather sad.

I think it's a beautiful word but, um, the definition?!
(OT: Reminds me of the time I was reading a magazine and there was a girl in it named Apple Loveless.)

I would avoid it the meaning is awful, I much prefer the name Loveday
I wouldn't call my child Loveless!
I've seen the name Lovelace, though (never heard it.)It's better.
Then, there's Loveday, and Lovejoy.

I'm loving this name less and less...
Ok, bad pun haha. But regardless, that's pretty bad.

I know two kids with the surname Loveless and I always thought it was a bit unfortunate. I don't know why anyone would choose it as a given name, although I suppose it does have a reasonably pretty sound.
It's a beautiful word but it makes me think of lovelace the Happy Feet movie. If I used it I would use it as a middle name.
It's a bit of a cruel name to give, not much better than Addolorata (Suffering) or Crocifissa). Who would *want* their child to be loveless?
Hmm. I guess it is pretty. Wouldn't use it though.
Maybe it's a family surname, and her parents decided to use it in the FN spot. I mean, I've seen Catchlove and Truelove as surnames, why not Loveless?

It's a nice word, I guess. I associate it with the My Bloody Valentine album of that name. I would avoid it as a first name because I don't like many word-names anyways.
Yeah, I would avoid it for that very reason. It's not like it means "loveless" ina foreign or ancient language. It's just so obvious. It can't be construed as anything but "having no love."
The parents are loveless - omg.
