I think you've got to go to the Book of Genesis and read the orignial story, Andrea , to get the full picture. Jacob eventually supplanted his twin brother, Esau , through much struggle -- exactly as was foretold on the day of his birth when witnesses saw him emerge grasping tenaciously to the heel of his brother.
