When Sofie found out she was pregnant, she knew that she had to tell Simon that she had been seeing her first love, Andrew Keiran Mellon, in secret and that either Simon or Andrew could be the father. Simon was furious and demanded a paternity test immediately and told Sofie he was filing for divorce. After the baby girl was born, with dark hair and eyes, it was obvious Andrew was her father, and the paternity test confirmed it. Simon and Sofie are now separated and it is unsure if they will work things out or end them for good.
