What do you think of it??
the shay part may be a little 'Trendy' But i like it.:)
I would probably use it as a middle name.
I got it from my name Carleigh, and a babys name Shaelyn. Also shayla.

It's the -leigh part that makes it trendy. Shay's not there quite yet (and I do hope it turns back around and steps away from the door to the Arena of Trendy Names, and doesn't go in. Not even to use the bathroom real quick.)
It looks like two names got into an argument which then turned into a full-out fist fight and somehow they collided together awkwardly. It doesn't look right, or natural, and it's rather harsh to say. Not a fan. Mind, I hate manglings of the first half of my name. Leigh's always bothered me: it's long and has an almost unnecessary amount of letters. What's wrong with -ly, or -ley? Or even -lee? -Leigh is just so... many letters.

I think it sounds annoyingly trendy and sickeningly sweet. I'm sorry, but I keep picturing a spoiled brat when I think of this name.

Sorry, but I don't like it. I don't like Shay / Che / Shae names. I just don't like the sound of it, and Shayleigh, is very complicated spelling for a name that sounds relatively simple. I think it's the 'y' in Shay and then you expect a 'y' for for the "leigh" sound (ie: ly). Too complicated, and it doesn't sound nice anyway.
However, as a middlename that doesn't get used much, I suppose it would be sufferable.

To be very honest, Shayleigh seems about as fluffy and trendy as possible to me. I like Alexis for boys. I think it doesn't flow well with Shayleigh because the S sounds run together.

There are girls in my youngest sister's grade named Shayley and Chaley (with a "ch" as in "chat"), not to mention Haileys, Kayleighs, and Ashleighs. Shayleigh just blends right into the crowd for me. In fact, it even feels a bit dated--my youngest sister is going into high school this year, so all this kids were born a decade and a half ago.
Alexis Shayleigh is very difficult to say, since the S's are right next to each other. From your PNL, I think Kiara Shayleigh might be a better fit.
