Message: "Brienna" - Behind the Name

I saw the name Brienna today. It reminds me of Brianna and Vienna. I thought it was kind of refreshing. What do you think of it? (I've been pronouncing it Bree-en-a. Do you think that's right?)

I don't like it, just because it sounds too much like Briannna, and I can't stand that name.

Not terrible, but it sounds too close to Brianna. In fact in my accent there's hardly a noticable difference when I say them. I think more Brianna + Sienna when I see it.

I much prefer Brianna (which I used to hate, but is kinda growing on me) or Brenda or even Brenna. Brienna looks like a smushing of Brenna and Brianna.
