Is it supposed to be prn like Shannon? My gut reaction is to give it the hard CH sound like in 'church' but then I thought about it more. Either way, it's a thumbs down from me. I also thought of canon or cannon.

It reminds me of my name (Shannon). So I'd say it just like Shannon, but with ch instead of sh (CHAN-an). Maybe it's related and his parents just altered it a bit. I don't like it though.
