[Opinions] Please help me name my Congo African Grey parrot
Hello,
Today I'm really happy because I just heard that we get our Congo African Grey parrot this week. We had a Timneh Grey parrot for over 20 years (we got him when I was a baby and I grew up with him) who died in June which was very very sad for all of us but he died at an old age (he was already quite old when we got him). We first couldn't imagine having a new one ever but we miss having a parrot so much so lately we thought about it and finally my dad surprised us with buying one. The parrot was born this year (he's from a breeder) so he's still a baby.
Now we can't really agree on a name. My mom likes "Paul" but I think it's hard to say for a parrot and hard to learn and the name should have 2 syllables. I love Elmo but my sister thinks it's dumb. My sister liked Hedwig which I like as well but we are not sure of the sex yet (we will know this week).
We would like a name that is easy to say and learn for a parrot (best would be a name with 2 syllables. I'd really like it to have a nice meaning or maybe a name of a famous bird from mythology ?
I have pictures but can't scan them but if you don't know what they look like here's a picture:

more suggestions plz :)
Don't nag, it's both rude and annoying.
Well, a Roc bird is a mythological gigantic bird (Indian mythology or Middle Eastern, I can't remember), so maybe Rocco if it's a boy would be a nice name for a parrot.
Years ago, on a show here called Burkes Backyard, a budgie won the talking budgie competition, and his name was Juicer, which I really like for a bird too.
Other names;
Rudy - my beloved (long deceased though now) birds name.
Otto
Queenie
Trinny
Aello (name of a Harpy in Greek Mythology)
Ocypete (Ok-sip-it-tee), also a Harpy.
Have fun with your new bird, they are wonderful pets, lucky you!

eye-lo (as in an eyeball) is the proper latin pronunciation for the ae dipthong. HOwever, I personally prefer the pronunciation ee-lo.
