I love Ian. And I suppose it makes some sense as a nn for Caspian because it's in the name. But something about it feels wrong somehow. I can't put my finger on it, but it feels vaguely like cheating to use a completely different name as a nn. I've done it myself so I don't know why I'm reacting this strongly. Maybe because I get such different feelings from Caspian and Ian.

How about Caz? I agree with you about Cassy / Cassie not working as a nn for Caspian. Cassy / Cassie is all girl to me.
