I like it but I don't! I like it because to me it's a colour name, which appeals to me, but it's also very trendy. I think I now prefer Siena more though, as it's a place name in Italy and that appeals to me even more. I'd only use either in the mn spot personally.

I love it! I started liking it years ago when I was doing some painting using the colour "burnt sienna" and thinking Sienna or Siena would make a great name. The only problem is it has become quite trendy over here (Britain) and if I used it for real, I think people would assume I'd named a baby after Sienna Miller.

I think it's very pretty. I would love to hear it on a baby!

I think it's prettier than Sierra, and it's a modern name that actually sounds professional rather than babyish like Jaden and Nevaeh. I only like it spelled Sienna. I can't stand Siena as a given name (it's a city in Italy).

Phonetically speaking, it's a beautiful name. It's not one I would use, because I prefer names with a history and a tradition, but I do think it sounds beautiful. I love Summer, but I wouldn't really use that either. But for someone else, I think Sienna is great.

I prefer it spelled Siena, one N as in the place name, in honor of St. Catherine of Siena. It frankly distressed me, when I was pregnant last time, that 2N Sienna's kind of trendy / popular, because if I had used it (I was seriously considering Summer Siena for a girl) I think most people would have assumed I used it because of its popularity -- and maybe even thought I'd spelled it wrong using only the one N. :-/Oh well. Dodged that bullet with Gideon. :-) I do think it's a lovely name, whatever your reasons for liking it.
